_ reporting
Open Quorum at civil.quorum.synthetic-schematics.com, sign in, tap Report, add a photo and a short description, and confirm the location. It takes about a minute.
Public is for things the town, state, or a federal agency takes care of: potholes, streetlights, sidewalks, parks. Private is for problems on your own property, like a leaking roof or a broken water heater. Quorum guesses which one from the location, and you can always switch it.
Your neighbors and your town see it on the map and in the feed. You choose whether it also goes to the global feed that everyone on Quorum can see.
Private reports never go on the map and never go in your town's feed. When local pros join Quorum, they'll see the problem without your name or contact details, and you decide who, if anyone, gets in touch. You can also choose to share a private report to the global feed.
Quorum shows your town what residents are reporting and how many neighbors care about each issue. The town decides what gets fixed and when. Upvote reports you agree with; the ones with the most support stand out.
_ emergencies
No. If anyone is in danger, call 911. Marking a report Emergency does not alert police, fire, or the town, and nobody watches Quorum around the clock. For a gas smell or a downed power line, call 911 or your utility first.
_ privacy and your account
No. Everyone on Quorum goes by a username. Pick one that doesn't give away who you are. You can also post a report anonymously, which hides even your username.
Quorum removes the location and camera data from photos before they're stored. The photo itself can still show a house number or a face, so check it before you post.
In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete my account. It deletes your account, your private reports, your posts, and your comments. Public reports stay up without your name so the town can still fix them.
Tap ⋯ on the post or comment and choose Report, or Block to stop seeing that person. Three reports from different people hide a post until we review it. We review every report.
Search for it in the town picker first. Some towns are listed under their official name, like "Foxborough" rather than "Foxboro." If it still isn't there, email us and we'll add it.
_ using the app
Not yet. Quorum works in your phone's browser. To keep it one tap away, add it to your home screen: on iPhone tap Share, then Add to Home Screen; on Android open the browser menu (⋮), then Add to Home screen.
Yes, for residents.
